Description

VHC Reader (Vitamin-D Test)

The VHC Reader currently allows a practitioner and client to see 25-OH Vitamin D results within 15 minutes, anywhere and at any time, providing  a better consultation and a better outcome for the client.

The VHC Quantitative Vitamin-D Test is an immunochromatography-based one step in vitro test. It is designed for the quantitative determination of total 25-hydroxy Vitamin D in a human finger-prick blood. This assay provides a preliminary diagnostic test result and can be used for screening of Vitamin D deficiency.

The Vitality Health Check Reader (VHC-Reader) is a innovative professional health monitoring device. It allows a practitioner to generate reliable test results within clinical settings.

The Vitamin D testing strips are sold seperately.

How to run a Vitamin D test in 5 easy steps:

Step 1.  Take a finger prick sample and completely mix with five drops of sample buffer in our UniSampler (a special sample collection and mixing device, with an integrated high precision capillary for accurate sampling).

Step 2.  Prepare and program the VHC-Reader with the RFID card. Then place three full drops of the sample on to the VHC Vitamin-D test cassette to start the test.

Step 3.  The VHC-Reader automatically starts a 15 minute countdown and will run the results at the right moment on its own without the need for any further intervention.

Step 4.  Once the countdown is finished, the VHC-Reader will automatically run the test reults within in a few seconds.

Step 5. The VHC-Reader will then show you the clients results in ng/ml and nmol/l on its display and store the data internally for later review.

You may then check the results against a professional evaluation table, developed and recommended by leading vitamin D experts for interpretation:

Level 1 < 20 ng/ml          < 50 nmol/l Critical low Vit D
Level 2 21-30 ng/ml        52,5-75 nmol/l Long term Vit D deficiency
Level 3 31-40 ng/ml        77,5-100 nmol/l Sufficient Vit D
Level 4 41-60 ng/ml        102,5-150 nmol/l Good Vit D
Level 5 61-90 ng/ml        152,5-225 nmol/l Very good Vit D
Level 6 90ng/ml               225 nmol/l High Vit D

VHC Reader at a glance:
